It is with great excitement that we share the news that we have signed Alex Cobham to joining the TJN squad in early January 2015, taking the position of Director of Research.
Alex, who is based in Oxford, U.K., will be joining TJN at an exciting time as we expand our research work on measuring the scale of global illicit financial flows and the harmful impacts of offshore secrecy and tax avoidance.
Since 2003 TJN has led the field in producing the dangerous ideas that have risen from nowhere to top the agendas of the G8, G20 and OECD. Alex has been involved with our work for many years, most importantly through his pioneering role in developing our Financial Secrecy Index.
Alex will be blogging regularly to share his perspective on new tax justice themed research, and his research outputs will be made available to anyone and everyone with an interest in this fascinating field of study.
